Camp MOE

Providing camper scholarships for children to attend camp.  In 2017 alone we were able to send over 360 children to camp by providing funding to families who could not attend.

CT Children's Medical Center

CCMC received monies towards their "Family Assistant Fund" that purchases gift cards to places such as Wal-Mart, Stop & Shop, Mobil/Exxon for oncology families to use for basic needs such as food, gas and personal care items.

  1. It helped Amy's (17 - diagnosed with lymphoma) family with expenses after just moving to CT.

  2. It paid rent and phone bills for James (16 - diagnosed with lymphoma) whose single parent mom had to take a leave of absence from her job to care for her son during his treatment.

  3. It helped pay for car repairs for Tyler (16 - diagnosed with multiple relapsed leukemia) whose single mom lived on very limited financial resources.

  4. It helped fill oil tanks for (3) families who were unable to afford this as they lost income due to their child's cancer diagnosis.

  5. It helped (3) families with funeral expenses.

A scholarship in the amount of $500 for a student who is continuing their education and has overcome overwhelming obstacles.

Our Local Schools

Torrington High School, Southwest Elementary School and Gilbert High School have all benefited from monies raised from the Miles4Moe event.  We have supported the THS Varsity Club scholar athlete and the Football Club sponsoring offense and defense player of the season, and Gilbert High School's wrestling team received fund to help them go to competition in Florida.
